I was born in Haapsalu in 1966. I have graduated from Noarootsi Secondary School and Tartu Art School, after which, in 1988, I moved to Kuressaare on Saaremaa, the biggest island of Estonia. I have worked as a furniture carpenter and restorer. In 1992 I took part in the Continuing Education Program at the University of Turku, where I attended courses of handicraft entrepreneurship.
I have my own handicraft chamber. In 1998 - 2003 I was self-employed, after that I established LIIMEISTER LLC in 2003. I am married and have two children. I have gathered inspiration for my items from the old Estonian traditions and the handicraft of our ancestors, where the poetic ideas combined with practical needs.
